Our Mission
The modern web is rich with insightful commentary, high-resolution photography, and creative short-form videos. However, users often face barriers when attempting to save their own published content, archive research references, or keep offline copies of public media before it disappears.
Threaa was engineered to provide a clean, distraction-free utility for downloading public Threads media. We reject intrusive ad clutter, misleading download buttons, mandatory software installations, and account registration walls. Our goal is straightforward: input a public post URL, inspect the media preview, and download your files in pristine original quality.
Privacy by Architecture
We do not store your download history on our servers, track your personal identity, or require accounts. Media is streamed ephemerally through encrypted edge nodes.
Deterministic Speed
Built on Cloudflare's ultra-low latency edge network, Threaa resolves media graphs in milliseconds and streams binary assets at full line speed directly to your device.
Attribution & Preservation
Our unique Post Pack feature bundles original caption text and permanent source URLs with downloaded media so creators maintain context and accurate attribution.
Technical Architecture
Threaa is powered by SvelteKit and runs across hundreds of data centers globally via serverless edge workers. The core resolver engine performs multi-stage HTML and JSON graph inspection to detect high-bitrate progressive MP4 streams and uncompressed JPEG/WebP images.
When downloading multi-item carousels, Threaa offers the option to stream a Post Pack ZIP archive generated on-the-fly. This delivers all media items, structured metadata, and text captions without loading server disk overhead.
