Threaa ("we", "us", or "our") operates as a stateless web utility. We believe the safest data is data that is never collected. Unlike commercial downloader portals, we do not require account registration, do not deploy user tracking beacons, and do not maintain databases of your download history.

When you use Threaa, we never ask for or store:

• Your social media credentials, passwords, or authentication tokens

• Copies of downloaded media files, images, or videos

3. How Requests Are Handled

When you enter a public Threads URL or use the quick URL redirect, our edge servers retrieve the publicly accessible metadata associated with that specific post. This process occurs entirely in volatile memory (RAM). Once the download stream initiates or the session ends, the temporary representation is automatically discarded.

Binary media files are streamed through secure, encrypted TLS connections directly to your browser. Threaa does not maintain persistent media caches or file storage.

4. Client-Side Browser Storage

To provide convenient features such as "Recent Downloads", Threaa utilizes standard HTML5 localStorage on your local client device.

• This information remains entirely within your local browser sandbox.
• No download history records are transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• You can clear this history at any time using the "Clear" button in the interface or via your browser settings.

5. Infrastructure & Security Logs

Our service is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Standard, automated HTTP network logs (such as connecting IP address, timestamp, requested endpoint, and user-agent string) are temporarily logged by the edge infrastructure strictly for the purposes of:

• Preventing automated denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
• Enforcing fair-use rate limiting
• Diagnosing runtime infrastructure errors

These logs are retained for short operational windows and are never sold, rented, or combined with personal identities.

6. Third-Party Links & Services

Threaa interacts with publicly accessible URLs on Threads (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.). When you access external websites, their respective privacy policies and terms govern your interaction. We recommend reviewing Meta's privacy disclosures.
