Fix Brave Shields Blocking Threads Downloads
Problem Summary
Clicking Download in Brave Browser shows no file progress or silences the file save prompt.
Why This Happens
Brave aggressive fingerprinting protection can intercept JavaScript Blob creation or client-side object URLs used to trigger file transfers.
How to Resolve It
- Click the Brave Lion icon in the URL bar.
- Toggle Shields from "Down" or change Trackers & ads blocking from "Aggressive" to "Standard" for threaa.com.
- Under Advanced Controls, ensure "Block Fingerprinting" allows standard client-side blob generation.
- Tap the Download button again; Brave will present the standard native download prompt.
